[Kendo Journal] Me, age 11, taking off 호면, 面, Men.
I started practicing Kendo when I was 10 years old. It has been such a long time.
At that time, there was no cell phone or digital camera. Video camera wasn’t that common as well.
Because of those reasons, I don’t have many pictures of me wearing kendo uniform or bogu.
I only have few pictures that my mom took at home. Recently I get to see many pictures and videos of little kids practicing kendo online. I wished I could have that too but I changed my mind because knowing the analogue is pretty awesome, too.
I’ve left Korea for a while now, meaning I stopped practicing Kendo once again.
I’m still recovering from ligament injury that I got in Korea because of the hard practice, so I don’t think I will go back to Kendo anytime soon. It makes me sad but I should fully recover so I can practice again in the long run.
I’m going to swim instead, which is my second favorite sports until I go back to my first favorite! :)
I’ll also try to continue my Kendo journal as often as possible. So stay tuned! :-D
