This room is a regular dorm to others. For us, it’s full of memories and meanings. The cacti by the window, the fan that was out all year long, and even some papers on the wall have stories of us. I’ve always been fascinated by how people put meaning on ordinary things and places. These are nothing to others. To the person who has a special relationship with them, they are so much more than just places or objects. How I remember this room is also very different from others who stayed there. This is how I remember and feel about the room. Full of bright colors. I wish all our memories could be like this…
