I don’t remember when my husband took this picture. We were at Odaiba, Tokyo looking at Rainbow Bridge. We took turns taking pictures of each other. For some reason, I remember other parts of Odaiba, but not this moment. Yet, this is my favorite picture from this trip. I tend to have a blank face when I’m concentrating or in deep thought. I might be zoned out at this moment and that’s why I don’t remember. I can feel, however, the breeze on my face. I can imagine I turned my head toward the wind so my hair didn’t block my sight. I want to ask myself what I was thinking about. Perhaps trying not to think about the upcoming departure date that would separate us once again.
