There were so many things on the base I couldn’t have outside. Every time I visited my husband, he stacked up some of the stuff for me. This ice-cream was one of them at that time, I’m not sure if Korea has this brand now. Even though I don’t like sweet things that much, I loved this one. In Korea, many people share food with others, usually with family and close friends, without separate plates. Younger people tend to have separate plates nowadays but eating together is still deep in Korean culture. I learned at a very young age that this could be unpleasant to people from other countries. I think I was pretty careful not to do this in front of my husband at first. When my husband didn’t care about putting his spoon in the same ice-cream cup, it was strangely comforting. I haven’t had this ice-cream for a while but I’ve been sharing a lot of food with my husband.
