Long and short purple and red flowers with a hint of pink pedals are against the yellow background with a loose off-white circle. Dark purple and magenta-colored hard berries are placed on light pink dotted green leaves. There is one bright white flower in the center. Strong green leaves support all the flowers.
Finally, the fall has arrived. I see dried leaves falling from trees making crispy noises on the grass. My dog seems to enjoy the sound of it when he runs over them.
Where I live doesn’t have much color in the fall. Most trees are evergreen or brown all year round. Still, few trees turned to dark yellow and red, telling us the summer had gone.
At the end of summer, I was diagnosed with a severe illness. It’s one of those things that you never know how long you need to deal with it. The news was devastating. It took me a while to adjust my day to a new lifestyle.
But I realized that my life needed to go on no matter what. There still is plenty of joy in my days, like looking at red and purple flowers that I bought; I brought a little autumn into my house with them.
Many times, chaos torments our life. But the key is to find order in it again. I think I’m slowly uncovering it. If anybody is dealing with a chaotic event in their life, I sincerely hope they still find meaning in it. I know it’s not easy, but I’ll keep searching.
Happy Fall, Everyone!
