A brown dog is sniffing a plant. The light and dark brown fur makes a nice pattern with white spots on the shoulder and neck. Half of the dog’s head is under a bright green bush with darker shadowy parts. You can get a hint of the leaves’ shape from the oval pattern, roughly drawn with a strong pencil line on top of green paint. The dog is in a gravel yard with various purple and blueish-green pebbles. The yard has roughness against the paper created by crayons. The dog has a black leash that extends toward the bottom of the picture, indicating where his owner is standing.
My daily activity goal is 4000 steps, and it takes about two miles of walking. We have a small park right next to our apartment. One round will make about a quarter-mile, so I need to make eight rounds to complete my goal. It’s boring. And I already don’t have much energy. So I often give up early and play with my dog, Dingo, on the grass. When I have more fuel, I walk around my neighborhood. It helps me to reach my goal without repeating the same road. I try not to let Dingo step on people’s front yards during our stroll. Fortunately, a church with a graveled yard is in the middle of our path. I allow Dingo to sniff around and release himself. Gravel won’t die from his urine, as far as I know. (haha) This church has small bushes decorating the muted pebble with pop green colors. Probably many dogs from the neighborhood mark on the bushes. My dog always sniffs them hard and marks them too. I heard that they get so much information about the dog from sniffing other dogs’ markings or poo. (Even their sizes!) Dingo isn’t into other dogs much. Whenever he sniffs other dogs’ residue, I wonder what he thinks about them. I hope it’s something positive.
